Fasteso (Esomeprazole) 40mg Tablets contain the active ingredient Esomeprazole, which belongs to the class of medications known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Esomeprazole works by reducing the production of stomach acid, which helps relieve symptoms associated with conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and other acid-related disorders.

• Fasteso (Esomeprazole) 40mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of:
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including erosive esophagitis.
  • Symptomatic relief of heartburn and other symptoms associated with GERD.
  • Healing and maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis.
  • Treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection.
  • Reduction of risk of NSAID-associated gastric ulcers in patients with a history of ulcer disease.
  • Treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions, including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
