Description and Usage:

Terbinafine 250mg tablets are primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis). It can also be used to treat fungal infections of the nails (onychomycosis).

Terbinafine works by inhibiting the enzyme squalene epoxidase, which is essential for the synthesis of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting fungal cell membrane synthesis, Terbinafine effectively kills the fungus and clears the infection.
