Description and Usage:

Zilero (Apixaban) 5mg Tablets are indicated for the following conditions:

• Prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation
• Treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE)
• Prevention of recurrent DVT and PE in patients who have completed initial treatment

Apixaban is a selective inhibitor of factor Xa, an enzyme involved in the coagulation cascade. By inhibiting factor Xa, apixaban prevents the formation of thrombin, which is crucial for blood clot formation.
