Description and Usage:

Aireez is a medication that contains the active ingredient Montelukast Sodium. It is available in tablet form, with each tablet containing 10mg of Montelukast Sodium. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist, primarily used to manage and prevent asthma symptoms and to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever).

Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 months and older. Relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (including nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, and runny nose) in adults and pediatric patients aged 2 years and older.

Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, which are chemicals in the body that contribute to inflammation, bronchoconstriction (tightening of muscles in the airways), and mucus production in the lungs and nasal passages. By blocking leukotriene receptors, Montelukast helps to reduce inflammation and alleviate asthma and allergic rhinitis symptoms.
