Lipirex is a brand of medication that contains the active ingredient atorvastatin. Atorvastatin is classified as a statin and is commonly used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood.

Lipirex (Atorvastatin) is prescribed to lower elevated levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol (often referred to as “bad” cholesterol), apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides. It is also used to increase HDL cholesterol (“good” cholesterol) in patients with hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia.
