Description and Usage:

X-Plended EZ (Rosuvastatin+Ezetimibe) tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, including:

• Elevated levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)
• Elevated levels of total cholesterol
• Elevated levels of non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL-C)
• Elevated levels of triglycerides (in combination with a statin)
• In patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (in combination with other lipid-lowering treatments)

• Rosuvastatin: Rosuvastatin is a statin medication that works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in cholesterol synthesis in the liver. By blocking this enzyme, Rosuvastatin reduces the production of cholesterol, leading to decreased levels of LDL-C (“bad” cholesterol) and triglycerides.
• Ezetimibe: Ezetimibe works by inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol in the small intestine, thereby reducing the amount of cholesterol that enters the bloodstream. It primarily inhibits the absorption of dietary cholesterol and cholesterol derived from bile.
